Vermont Rail Action Network

Hi friend,

The Amtrak Vermonter and Ethan Allen need your help! Can you send a postcard to support Vermont’s Amtrak service?

Flights continue into Burlington International Airport and driving is close to normal levels. While tourism and business travel is way down, essential personal travel continues – things like medical appointments, students, and visiting friends and family. We have heard many personal stories over the weeks and months about folks who need the train.

The Scott administration is now considering when Amtrak trains should resume service in Vermont. Your postcard could have a well-timed influence on the decision!

Please include a brief note about why Amtrak’s service in Vermont matters to you and state what you would like to see happen.

It’s important to ask for DAILY service as well.  There is no point taking a train if it doesn’t return the day you need.

Send your postcard or letter to:

Governor Phil Scott
109 State Street, Pavilion
Montpelier, VT 05609

You can send the governor email instead, here: https://governor.vermont.gov/email

Thank you!

Christopher Parker, Executive Director
